  • Whole School Admissions Tour

    Observation Mornings include a presentation on the philosophy and approach of Waldorf education and visits to five classes to see the Waldorf approach “in action.” The tour spans the grades, observing our youngest students in the Children’s Garden, several Lower School grades, and a class in the High School. Observation Mornings begin at 8:00 a.m. in the school library and end in the library at 10:30 following a Q & A period. These events are for adults.

    This afternoon is an opportunity to learn about our new outdoor programming. Rain or shine, spend the afternoon outdoors in the parkland setting of our campus with your 2.5 to 5 year old child and our early childhood outdoor educators. We currently offer an all outdoor class for parents with their 2 to 3 year olds and for 2015-16 we will offer an outdoor, mixed-age Waldorf preschool-kindergarten class for children 3 to 5 years old. Space is limited for this event; registration is required through Lezlie Lawson at llawson@washingtonwaldorf.org or at 301-229-6107 x154.
