Our school community is enriched by strong connections to the surrounding neighborhood. We have many cultural programs and other events to which neighbors are invited, usually without charge. We work hard to maintain our grounds and facilities, and neighbors are welcome to use our facilities. Finally, many of our families live in the immediate neighborhood. We shop at local stores and eat at local restaurants. We are an asset to our local community and proud to be part of it.
We are sensitive to our potential impact on the neighborhood, and welcome any opportunities to address neighbors' concerns. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
COVID-19 Considerations for Community Use of Our Campus
Due to COVID-19 safety concerns, we cannot have visitors on our campus during the school day. For this reason, we are currently enforcing our exclusive use of our leased property (defined in our lease with the county as the building, walkways, play areas, parking lots, outdoor recreation fields, and land) until 5:00 p.m. on school days.
Historically, we have not felt the need to enforce this exclusives use of the property and we look forward to returning to a more open campus when the pandemic has passed.
