Construction Updates

The Whiting-Turner team is in the final weeks of construction, and although we hit a slight delay with the gym flooring installation, we expect the construction to be mostly complete by the end of this month. Final inspections are scheduled for next week. The bleachers will be the last item to be installed in the first week of August.

The Gym construction remains on schedule, with a goal of final completion by August 2023. Recent construction milestones include the beginning of the exterior wall insulation, and framing for interior walls. 

The construction schedule for the Gym remains on schedule, and a recent exciting development is the delivery of the prefab steel frame. You can really see the Gym starting to take shape. We expect the prefab structure to be complete by the end of November. In December, the Gym’s roof construction will begin.

The concrete slab for the gym base was poured on Tuesday, September 20, 2022. The next big step is the steel structure which will come later in the fall.

The current construction is focused on site preparation.
